Terms of Service.

These Terms explain the rules that apply when you visit Resumize sales pages, purchase access, or use Resumize career tools and related services.

Last updated: June 12, 2026
Plain-English note: Resumize is a fully automated, self-serve, subscription-based AI-powered career document and positioning platform. The service helps users improve resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and related career materials, but does not provide job-search, recruiting, staffing, placement, candidate sourcing, headhunting, human consulting, employer-employee, or employment services. Resumize does not guarantee interviews, ATS passage, job offers, hiring decisions, employment outcomes, salary increases, immigration approvals, or any specific career results.

01Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Resumize (resumize.live), operated as a sole trader business, and its related services ("Resumize," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, buying a plan, starting a trial, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or services. If you use Resumize on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

02The Service

Resumize provides sales pages, resume and career-document tools, AI-assisted writing features, templates, scoring, resume tailoring, LinkedIn profile content support, and related career-document preparation tools. Resumize is a fully self-serve digital software service with no human intervention required to use the product. We do not provide manual recruiting, candidate sourcing, staffing, contract placement, job placement, headhunting, employment agency services, employer-employee matching, human consulting, immigration services, or guaranteed hiring outcomes. Features may change, be added, removed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the service is intended for individual job seekers and personal career-development use. You may not resell, repackage, mirror, or commercially exploit the service without written permission.

03Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority where you live to use paid features. If an account is created, you are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate access if information is false, incomplete, unlawful, or used to abuse the service.

04Your Content and Career Materials

You retain ownership of resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, LinkedIn text, portfolio content, and other materials you upload, paste, create, or generate through the service ("Your Content").

You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, transform, and store Your Content only as needed to provide, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any content you submit.

You are responsible for reviewing final documents before using them. Do not submit confidential third-party information, trade secrets, government identifiers, or sensitive personal data unless you are comfortable processing that data through the service.

05Artificial Intelligence Services and Disclaimers

Nature of AI-generated content. Resumize may use third-party artificial intelligence and machine-learning systems to analyze resumes, draft cover letters, suggest summaries, rewrite bullet points, provide LinkedIn optimization suggestions, score career materials, and generate related career-document output ("Output"). Because AI models generate content based on patterns and probabilities, you acknowledge that Output may contain factual inaccuracies, omissions, repeated language, grammar issues, unsuitable phrasing, or suboptimal career suggestions.

No guarantee of professional outcomes. Output is provided strictly for informational, educational, drafting, and career-positioning purposes. Resumize does not act as a career counselor, professional recruiter, staffing agency, job-placement agency, legal advisor, immigration advisor, or financial advisor. We make no guarantees, warranties, or representations, express or implied, that using Resumize or its Output will result in interviews, callbacks, job offers, salary increases, career advancement, recruiter responses, improved ATS scores, or passing automated Applicant Tracking Systems.

User responsibility to review. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the factual accuracy, grammar, relevance, originality, completeness, and truthfulness of all raw or optimized text before submitting it to employers, posting it on LinkedIn, publishing it in a portfolio, or using it in any job application. You must not submit false, misleading, plagiarized, confidential, or unauthorized information.

Reliance on Output. Resumize will not be legally liable or responsible for employment rejections, missed professional opportunities, hiring decisions, application outcomes, reputational harm, or damages resulting from your reliance on AI-generated or AI-assisted content. Employment outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including market conditions, employer preferences, qualifications, timing, interviews, and hiring processes.

Intellectual property of Outputs. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Resumize claims no ownership rights over the specific resume text, cover letter text, LinkedIn text, portfolio text, or other career-document Output generated specifically for you by the platform. You may use, edit, distribute, and publish that Output, subject to your responsibility to verify it and comply with these Terms. However, you grant Resumize a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to securely process Your Content, prompts, and Output solely to provide, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our software tools.

06Payments, Trials, and Subscriptions

Paid access may be offered as a trial, monthly plan, six-month plan, annual plan, one-time product, promotion, or other billing period shown at checkout. Pricing, features, discounts, and billing periods are shown before purchase and may change over time.

Merchant of Record disclosure. Our order process may be conducted and fulfilled by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd and its subsidiaries ("Paddle"). Where Paddle is used, Paddle is the legal merchant of record for your order, processes the transaction, handles applicable taxes, and may manage checkout, subscription status, receipts, disputes, chargebacks, and refunds. Your card or bank statement may show charges as "PADDLE.COM * RESUMIZE" or a similar Paddle descriptor.

Payments may also be processed by third-party payment providers, including Paddle and/or Razorpay. When you buy through those providers, their checkout, payment, tax, invoice, renewal, dispute, cancellation, and refund processes may also apply. Paddle's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to transactions processed by Paddle.

At the beginning of each billing period, you may be charged for the entire billing period in advance. If a subscription renews automatically, you authorize the payment provider to charge the applicable payment method at the renewal price and interval shown at checkout until canceled.

Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current subscription rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. Renewal charges may occur shortly before, on, or shortly after the renewal date depending on the payment processor.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices or plan packaging. If a price increase applies to an existing recurring subscription, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice by email, account notice, website notice, or payment-provider notice. If you do not agree to the new price, you must cancel before the next renewal date. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the new price.

Plan limits and credits. Plans may include different features, usage limits, credits, AI usage, templates, exports, storage, and support levels. Subscription-plan credits and usage allowances refresh according to the applicable billing cycle and do not roll over, accumulate, or carry forward to the next month or billing period. Top-up credits, usage add-ons, promotional credits, and unused plan credits do not convert to cash and may expire at the end of the billing period, trial, promotional period, downgrade, cancellation, refund, chargeback, suspension, or account termination.

Service delivery. Access to paid digital features is generally granted immediately after successful payment processing or trial activation. If access is delayed or fails, contact hello@resumize.live from your registered account email address with your order details.

Downgrades. Downgrading or changing plans may reduce, remove, or limit access to features, credits, templates, exports, saved settings, or other capabilities. Resumize is not responsible for loss of access that results from a downgrade, cancellation, payment failure, refund, or plan change.

07Cancellation and Refunds

Users can easily cancel their subscription at any time directly through their account settings panel, through the Paddle/Razorpay billing flow, or through another applicable payment-provider flow. When renewal is cancelled, the active plan remains available until the end of the current billing period unless access is revoked because of a refund, chargeback, fraud review, misuse, or legal requirement. No further subscription charge will be made after the cancelled billing period.

Cancelling renewal does not automatically create a refund request. Refund requests must be submitted from the registered account email address and are reviewed according to the applicable refund policy, payment provider rules, subscription type, billing period, account usage, and applicable law.

Default no-refund rule. Subscription charges, one-time digital purchases, trial fees, renewal charges, credits, usage allowances, promotional charges, and add-on purchases are non-refundable once payment is completed, except where required by law, approved by the payment provider, or approved by Resumize because of a duplicate charge, failed payment issue, verified billing error, or other rare exception.

Short cancellation window. If you accidentally purchase or renew a paid plan and do not want access, you must cancel and contact support within fifteen (15) minutes of payment completion. Requests made after this short cancellation window are not eligible for refund unless required by law, approved by the payment provider, or approved by Resumize as a rare exception.

No credit refunds. Credits, top-up credits, usage limits, AI usage allowances, promotional credits, and unused plan capacity are not refundable, transferable, or redeemable for cash. Monthly subscription credits refresh each billing cycle and unused credits do not carry forward or accumulate. Unused credits expire when the applicable billing period, trial, promotional period, subscription, cancellation period, downgrade, suspension, refund, chargeback, account closure, or account access ends.

If a refund is approved, Resumize may immediately downgrade the account to Free or Trial level, revoke paid-plan access, or adjust available credits and usage limits from the date the refund is processed. Approved refunds may take up to fourteen (14) days to be initiated, and additional bank, card network, wallet, or payment-provider processing time may apply.

Resumize and its payment providers reserve the right to decline refund requests where there is product usage, policy abuse, repeated refund behavior, violation of these Terms, chargeback activity, suspected fraud, or where the request falls outside the stated refund rules. See the Refund Policy for more details.

08Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the website or service. Prohibited activity includes:

  • Using the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
  • Copying, scraping, reselling, or reverse engineering the service or templates except as allowed by law.
  • Submitting malware, spam, automated requests, or content that infringes others' rights.
  • Using the service to build, train, or benchmark a competing product without permission.
  • Misrepresenting qualifications, employment history, licenses, education, or work authorization.

09Ownership and Feedback

Resumize owns or licenses the website, product design, templates, workflows, software, text, visual systems, branding, and other materials that are not Your Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.

If you send suggestions, feedback, ideas, or bug reports, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

10Third-Party Services and Links

The service may link to or rely on third-party tools, including payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, AI providers, font/CDN providers, and employer/job platforms. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their services, policies, downtime, or actions.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11Privacy

Our handling of personal information and career materials is governed by our Privacy Policy and by the settings, payment processor, and service provider choices available in the product. By using the service, you acknowledge that we may process information needed to provide the service, complete transactions, secure the website, and respond to support requests.

Do not submit information you are not authorized to share. Payment-card data is handled by third-party payment processors and is not intended to be stored directly by Resumize.

12Disclaimers

The website and service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, accepted by every ATS, or suitable for every employer or role.

We do not guarantee interviews, callbacks, job offers, salary increases, recruiter responses, ATS scores, or employment outcomes.

13Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resumize will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, employment decisions, or business interruption.

This exclusion applies even if Resumize was advised that those damages were possible and regardless of whether a claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or any other legal theory.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resumize's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms, the website, or the service will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (US $50). This is a hard maximum cap.

14Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Resumize, its operators, service providers, and representatives harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person's rights, or any claim that materials you submit, generate, publish, or send through the service caused harm to a third party.

This section survives cancellation, suspension, refund, chargeback, account closure, or termination of your access.

15Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for us or others, fail to pay amounts owed, create chargeback or fraud risk, or if we discontinue the service. We may also suspend or interrupt access to address technical issues, make security updates, perform maintenance, respond to legal or payment-provider requirements, or update the service to reflect changes in law or platform rules.

If payment fails, is reversed, disputed, charged back, or flagged by a payment provider, access may be suspended until the issue is resolved. You may stop using the service at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and acceptable-use restrictions.

16Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the website or service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

17Governing Law and Contact

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws and payment-provider rules, disputes relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the courts and competent authorities located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@resumize.live.
